Zane Zelmene is a new media artist working with video, virtual reality, and spatial installations to create immersive experiences. Zanes work explores perception, consciousness, and the boundary between the physical and digital worlds. During the residency, Zane will develop the project Soul Archaeology, which investigates amber as a carrier of memory and time — a material that connects nature, history, and symbolic meaning. Zane combines technology with an intuitive, symbol-based approach, creating works that invite the viewer to enter an expanded reality.
