
MAREUNROL’S, founded in 2012 in Riga, Latvia, by Mārīte Mastiņa-Pēterkopa and Rolands Pēterkops, works at the intersection of fashion, scenography, and performance. Their practice spans from fashion to opera, theatre, and art installations. MAREUNROL’S are laureates of the 24th Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères (2009), have participated in Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the Prague Quadrennial, and Arnhem Fashion Biennale, and have showcased their work in Japan, France, Spain, and beyond. They were featured in Pattern: 100 Designers, 10 Curators (Phaidon, 2013) and were the first Latvian brand included in the official Paris Fashion Week programme. Their designs are held in the collection of the Latvian National Museum of Art, and Vogue Italy named them among the 200 most promising designers in the world. unconventional beauty.
