Helen Liene Dreifelds develops sculptural installations that operate as material systems shaped through textile thinking and structured improvisation. Using handwoven textiles, metal structures, lens-based media, and organic matter, she stages environments in which tension, misalignment, and partial visibility organise perception over time. Her work addresses translation and mistranslation, duration, and the instability of meaning across material and cultural systems. She received her MFA from Yale School of Art (2025) and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2025). Her work has been supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Toronto Arts Council.
