Eric Naivo (1988) is an artist, poet, and performer working in contemporary art. He was born and lives in Latvia, and writes in Latvian, English, and Russian. Eric’s poetry has been published in literary magazines Punctum, Polutona, Oblaka, Nosorog, Satori, and Varke Rohk. The first poetry book ‘Rythm’ was published in 2022. His poems have been translated into Latvian by poets Arvis Viguls, Kārlis Vērdiņš and Einārs Pelšs. In 2015 he participated in the performance of the text group “Orbita”. In 2020-2024 Eric participated in the “Poetry Days” festival and an international poetry translation workshop, organised by the Latvian Literature platform.
